I'm heading to Texas 7/4 to pick up my 256RKT. It is pre-wired for the Furrion system. From the pictures, it appears the side lights have the mount for the cameras. Likewise, the shark fin mount for the aft camera is there. So, where do you buy just the cameras and screen? Every place I looked sells the cameras with the shark fin mount AND the side marker lights.

I bought my Furrion camera off Amazon. There are three screen sizes and the smaller one does not support the side marker cameras. Yes, you will not need the rear mount as yours is ready to go. Not sure about the side ones as I bought the smaller 4.5” screen. The camera package is needed for the campers without the camera ready system.

I've seen them on Amazon as a package deal. When I got my D256RKT a few months ago, it came with the back camera and small screen as part of the deal. Personally, I find the screen too small and I wish there was a way to just buy the bigger screen. And it would be nice to have the camera on the passenger side since when backing up on that side there is a big blind spot while backing in.

It’s a matter of personal preferences of what you need camera for. Plus there is a big price difference between the models. Personally I find the small screen ok but I’m just using it to view my boat in tow and / or the bike rack.

I have the small screen and only the rear camera. I use it mostly for seeing whats behind me, coming up on the side and when passing a vehicle to let me know when to pull back into the right lane. After a while you get used to the clearances. Backing up is done with a pair of eyes and hand signals.
