Please understand, we love our 382, it’s just the prospect of the cost of driving from Fairbanks to Indiana, home to Las Vegas and then back and then home, we are talking 10000 miles.

Still under warranty? What does KZ have to say about it? Is there a boat repair place that would be willing to make the repair?

Couple of thoughts: The fuel expense of traveling to the factory may be greater than getting repaired "locally" unless there are other reasons for the trip. I would think the factory would consider same. That said, those cracks were caused by something and the cause should be found and fixed before repairing the fiberglass. Hoping for a good resolution for you!

I'm with lynnmor, call Kz Customer service an get on record right away, keep on them even if you have to call then every day ...
Make sure when you call you have your serial/vin number of your trailer, get the name of the person your talking to if need be ask to talk to service manager or ask to be sent to a dealer so they can take pictures as well ....

Yes and KZ and the dealer have been notified, the crack was caused by something. Not all but a lot of the issue is the cost of driving to Indiana from Alaska and then home to Las Vegas and back and forth again.

A lot of these I've read about seem to have a common thread of screws shearing off in the frame, or =missing= the frame entirely, giving no support to the slide and the sidewall. The =side= needs to come off! :-( Please keep us posted. Lyle

KZ is pretty useless as far as warranty repairs go. Fit it at your own cost, send everything to KZ. You will likely never hear back from them, but you can get on with your life and RVing.

Isn't it sad,you pay good money for the trailer and expect to get a quality product. In the end you have a patched up item and told to just live with it and .... to add insult to injury you are out even more money.🤯

Be happy they stepped up and did whatthey di and that they didn't blow you off, an attorney would have cost way more if you had to go that route.

I wouldn’t blame the roads in Alaska. We traveled to Alaska too and we found the worst roads were in Iowa,Illinois and Indiana!!
