This is my first post. I have been lurking for a while as I researched KZ 5th wheels.
I am in the process of buying a 2021 KZ DG 386 FLF from an out of state private seller. I will be driving to pick it up in the next couple of weeks and we will make several stops on the way home to camp. I want to buy a tri-pod king pin stabilizer, so I am wondering if someone can tell me the height of the king pin while on level ground. This will help me choose the right size tri-pod.

Guessing less that 5% use them, save your $$ until you know what you really need.

Pretty sure they’re all adjustable either in the leg length or the spread. I use mine all the time as it makes a world of difference. I guess if the front landing legs had built in stabilizers you wouldn’t need the tripod.

The height will very depending on how level the site is. I have a king pin stabilizer, I use it only when I have the front jacks extended a lot. I use the Anderson buckets to help shorten the amount of jack extension. Kirt
