Is anyone running one of these? Looking for opinions, sorta tired of taking the B&W in and out of the truck bed.

Usually switching to a gooseneck type of hitch causes frame issues, as leverage is increased on the frame work of the 5th wheel. I wouldn't do it unless you know an engineer who can calculate the difference in load between the two pin boxes. I will warn you the manufacturer of this pin box will tell you everything is fine, until it's not.

GenY has same dimensions as a Reese Goosebox which is certified to use with Lippert framed trailers. Reese had a business dealing with Lippert for a while so testing was done & OK'd to use while testing for GenY has been prolonged forever, go figure the reason!

Thanks....KZ used a Leland frame for the 2011 Escalade. Leland was a subsidary of LE Technologies which appears to have ceased to exist. Seems like I remember them being purchased but a short search turns up nothing. In any case, I am aware of the stories of frame damage...just looking for real world experience with either of the devices. The GenY image was the one I found:) I have a 5th Airborne pin box now but I would love to only have to deal with the gooseneck ball rather than the B&W fifth wheel hitch.

If it has the same dimensions as the Reese Goosebox and Lippert "blessed" the Reese product then it's probably a good bet you will be OK. I would love to get rid of that pile of iron in the bed, but I have to have a slider...so there it sits.
