In getting ready to leave on our summer trip, as I got the trailer out of storage I saw the spare tire was gone.
The tire cable was cranked back into place, so someone had to take it.
Any suggestions on best means to lock it up?
Thankfully our neighbor is not using their trailer this summer and loaned a wheel and tire, that thankfully all fit.

Well that sucks! Funny they took the time to crank it back up. Must have used an impact gun. I’d have to look at mine to see what could be done, if anything.

Not a thing I'm aware of, a socket that fits and it's gone. I'm fortunate to be able to keep mine at home under a carport and a chain linked property.

Maybe drill a hole thru the "bolt" end and put a lock thru it to keep a socket from being used. Unfortunately we all know there is no way to completely secure anything. The thieves seem to evolve faster than viruses.

I like the idea of drilling the hole. Run a small bicycle type lock cable thru and lock it. As Edd said may not stop anybody, but maybe slow them down.
NV guy, you headed to Ship again this summer?
We met you there last year
