New trailer has I assume, a standard 110V/propane 8 cubic ft Norcold that goes out when traveling. It lights again quickly when you stop & recycle the button (turn off & back on to re-light) My old trailer went 3,200+kms in 3 days a few times & never missed a beat. I assume it's air pressure blowing it out when moving but the vent cover looks quite similar to old trailer cover? Is there any cure/shield or something to prevent this? If travelling long hrs you need to keep the fridge contents cool!

If it is the first time using, maybe propane hasn't reached the frig yet. I know when dewinterizing it make take up to 4 or 5 times to recycle the button to get propane working. The light on the frig will be lit when first turning on but will start blinking after a certain amount of time to indicate that the propane hasn't ignited. I personally run my frig while traveling but a lot of people say that we shouldn't. One friend of mine leaves his off while traveling and puts ice blocks in frig and freezer. Until you get resolution that might be a temporary solution.

Be sure that you have a constant and reliable 12 volt supply to the fridge when you are in driving mode. That means unplugged from shore power and operating on battery. You should have over 13 volts plugged into the truck with the engine running.
Is the fridge located at the same approximate location as your previous unit? Air flow can be vastly different depending on location, for example near a corner or near the center. Still, it should work if installed correctly, and that is a big IF. Follow the installation instructions, if they didn't come with the trailer, download them. Check for debris and measure everything that is required in the installation instructions, often they are installed in a shoddy manner.

I will check installation instructions, never thought of that! I was thinking airflow over top of trailer may be causing a sever vacuum through the exhaust port!
Fridge placement is roughly same as old trailer but totally different units. Fridge ran for 8hrs previous to the drive on propane to cool it down.

Make sure the metal flap over the flame is in place and you have a nice blue flame. You may also have low pressure from the propane regulator causing a lazy flame.

After our 2018 KZ Spree burnt to the ground due to a refrigerator fire, I will no longer run the fridge while underway. The issue on our Spree was a problem with the regulator. GD

After our 2018 KZ Spree burnt to the ground due to a refrigerator fire, I will no longer run the fridge while underway. The issue on our Spree was a problem with the regulator. GD Really does not matter if your traveling or sitting still. A defective regulator can fail at any time and KZ had a recall on them from 2018 to 2022. Mine gets checked yearly, but that still does not stop the problem. It can fail and cause a fire while you are sleeping. Your Spree was included.
KZRV, L.P. (KZRV) is recalling certain 2018-2022 Camplite, Confluence, Connect, Connect SE, Connect Lite, Durango, Durango Gold, Durango Half Ton, Durango Sport, Durango 1500, Quicksilver, Sonic, Sonic X, Sportsmen, Sportsmen FW, Sportsmen LE, Sportsmen SE, Sportsmen Sportster, Sportster, SportTrek, SportTrek Touring, Spree, Stratus, Venom, and Venom V Series RVs equipped with Winntec model 6020 two-stage propane regulators. The regulator may fail, causing an increase in propane pressure.

Unfortunately it wasn't just KZ, Jayco and other had the same recall, which is why the supply chain issues got so bad with getting replacements.

And they would reimburse me. I know. when I called KZ they told me they said it was up to me or my dealer to find a regulator and the would reimburse me. Then Crystal told me my regulator was not included int the recall even though it was within the date codes. She told my dealer the same thing when they called.
BTW, I had one ordered but it was on back order for months. I also found one at a local propane distributor. The back ordered one was shipped the next day. I now have an extra spare. KZ customer service is terrible. Saying one thing and then changing the story. KZ would not reimburse me for wither one.
I also had to buy two new hoses since the new regulators had inverted flare connectors and the original had npt connectors. I think the whole ordeal and change of stories was due to the fact that KZ would have to put out thousands of dollars to correct the recall.
