Looking for options on which generators will fit within the front cabinet for the 382MBQ. I specifically am looking for permanent mount like an Onan and not portable options. The RV needs close to 12,000 Watts with the amenities on board. The only one from Onan I can locate is the diesel mode, not that I have an issue with diesel, but rather it physically will not fit. So what did KZ design the compartment around?

Probably an Onan Micro quiet / QG or one in that family.

We just bought a Champion 4500 gas gen for the front hold. We can stand right next to it and have a normal conversation while it's running. We'll test it out on our 22' Durango Gold 391 this weekend maybe. Has a 30 amp connection, but you can mate 2 of them together using the kit and will give you 50 amps. Weighs about 90 lbs. Might not be the answer for you, be we'll just use it for bare needs between camp sites.
