Well the decals on the front cap started peeling on my ‘21 Durango D250RES. Definitely not heat related being in Canada and trailer sits at home facing north and sat facing north in storage. Dealer has got the ball rolling so we’ll see what KZ has to say.

Warranty has been approved and now we're just waiting for replacements. We'll see how long that takes.

Warranty has been approved and now we're just waiting for replacements. We'll see how long that takes. Let's hope the new decals are better quality than the originals, and the dealer really cleans the surface. KZ used the cheapest vinyl they could find. I had to remove all the front decals on my 2018 270thle. Spent three hours peeling and cleaning. The trailer looks a little strange with no front decals, but a lot better then peeling ones. This started about a month after the warranty. And of course KZ told me it was out of warranty. BTW, I saw a another Sportsmen, same year, at the dealer with the same problem.

I’m still waiting for the decals. Who knows, I might get them as a Christmas present lol.

My decals are in! I don’t have any camping booked early August so I’m taking it in then and let the dealer do the warranty work. At first I was thinking of doing it myself and save the fuel cost for the 5 hour round trip to the dealer. At least if he screws up the install, it’s on him for replacements.

The decals on tbe KZs are very poor quality. I have a 2018 and all the decals are peeling. Makes the trailer look terrible. I would avoid buying another KZ for this reason. We Re on Canada, so it heat and I keep the trailer covered all winter.

Pretty well all are faded and cracked making the camper look like crap. Copper Canyon is another. A friend of mine has a Winnebago fifth wheel and his are fading and cracking on a 2015 model.

They lost some free advertising.

First of all I’m not saying this happened to your decals but this is what I have learned about them. Never use anything on them that contain petroleum distillates. They look good for the first month and then they shrink, crack and fade. I only use 303 on any decal. Look at majority of waxes that are used, it contains PD. McQuires makes one without PD in it.

Picked up the camper today. They had an issue with one of the decals while installing so they left it off. They said think about it and they will get another at their expense if I really want. I’m ok with it not on there. One less to peel then. The new ones they have on the lot have only two decals now. Durango and HALF TON.

They sent the same ones that were used originally. It will probably be out of warranty when the new ones start to peel. I have a friend thathas a 10 year old Hideout and the decals still look good.

Strange that the decals used on cars and trucks last years even though they have been waxed many times with typical store bought polishes that probably contain PD's. It's the quality of the vinyl used.

I'd still like to get rid of the stupid black nose cap (you can feel the heat it puts into the interior) and paint it to match the tan color. THEN, I'd have a wrap showing the nose of the Big Boy, firing coal and pulling a grade, installed. :-)

So I have fading decals as part of the 5W does not fit under the carport and morning sun gets the front & pass side. I contacted KZ with the 5W info & Vin and received a "pick sheet" showing all four sides with "part numbers" for each piece - Thank you Robert Carter <rcarter@kz-rv.com>
Leaving in the AM for a month and when I get back the carport should be large enough to protect the entire RV as I have a local contractor doing the work while the RV's gone.
