First I would like to say that we love our Durango Gold 356RLT. We have had several problems with it however.
1st the stove would not light. Dealer did order a new wiring harness for the stove which solved the problem. Took 2 months
2nd The bathroom pocket door had the varnish peeling off. Dealer ordered new door which took 8 months.
3rd Storage shelves did not soft close and were uneven
4th HDMI cable for TV had the head pull off.
5th Hinges in the bedrrom dresser top lid pulled out from the side.
6th Molding on the inside of the slide out fell off while we were traveling from AZ to ID.
So we contacted the dealer for items 2 thru 6 and made an appointment (125 miles away) We showed up and got the work order written and were told it would be ready the next day. Since diesel is over $5.00 a gallon we stayed in a hotel so we could pick it up the next day. When we called to check to make sure it was done they said it was not completed and would need another day. We decided to go home and give them two days to finish the work. When we called again two days later they said it was completed so we drove to the dealer and picked it up. My mistake was to not check the work prior to leaving. It was raining when we were hooking up and decided just to get on the road since they said all the work was done. When we got home much to our surpise only the door had been done. Nothing else was completed that the service manager said was complete. We have driven 500 miles, hotel, meals and only to have the door replaced. We will not be going back to that dealer. We are hiring a local contractor to solve the problems and get on with life. KZ needs to vet the dealers and do ghost service checks to verify that they are worthy of selling KZ.
