Hello.. is anybody out there?
Been on this site for a little over a month now and noticed a lack of new posts. Seems that this is use for a complaints a lot which is ok if you are trying to figure out a problem.
We attend the KZ rally this past month and while the group was small we had a ball and met and made some new friends. I was suprised that this wasn't attend better as there was only 14 rigs.
Anyway, my point, if you stop by and read this post, log on and just say hello. Let's see who all is out there.

Hey! I'm always around. I check this site 2 or 3 times a day. Apparently kz owners are not a very vocal group.

I noticed that you here quite often.
By the way, we got together with Brad and Terry for lunch the other day. We're ony about an hour apart, so we'll see them a time or two before they head south for the winter.
Miss the campfire.

Hello. New owner here. We bought our Sportsmen Classic 2 weeks ago to replace our pop-up. Took it out this past weekend on a test run and were very pleased with it. If anyone is camping in southern California anytime soon give us a shout.

Hello Wildbill, We are on our second KZ and are happy campers. I have seen a lot of good questions from folks new to RVing and love helping them out. When we were in the process of getting our first RV this forum didn't exist but other forums like this one really helped me get started in the RV world. I do check in on this forum every day and try to contribute when I can. I wanted to go to the rally but had important commitments with my job that I could not get out of. Maybe there will be a future rally that we can attend---maybe in in Pa.

Hey, I'm here! I visit at least once a day, usually a couple times. I find that just checking others comments I learn lots, in addition to occasionally help someone out.
See, you're not alone .....

Me too, I check the forum every afternoon/evening while enjoying my pre-dinner appetizer. I only chime in when it may be helpful or to clarify my own confusion. Shortlance - Brian (aka Honeymooners) has tentative plans for spring regional KZ rally in the Michigan. Mike (brmike) has tentative plans for next Sept/early Oct for the 2nd annual national rally in Tennessee. We really enjoyed the first rally and it was amazing how many new friends we made - much more than just another camping weekend.

Well then, it set in concrete, campfires at our place. Looking forward to Tenn and Mich. Wonder if Honeymooners are looking at Silver Lake/Ludington area? Beauiful area and great beaches.

"Bluegrass" here, I am a KZ Forum junkie....on at least once a day. The rally was great, if you missed it put it on your "bucket list" for next year....great people, new friends, and a super time! It is so nice to see names that we can now put a face to in the blogs. We are trying to decide if we can squeeze one more trip to Dayton, Ohio in early November...have to see how November weather plays out. We live in Western NY, if we get there we might not get home...lake effect snows southwest of Buffalo can be pretty bad. Of course, if we get to Daytona we could just head south until the snow clears but that might be April. We have already blocked May and Sept/Oct on our calendar for Michigan and Tennessee...if all goes well we will be at both.
Hey Wi1dbi11, Doug is building us a picnic table lamp....great idea. Ours is a little different design, will be anxious to show you next year.

I try to check in on a daily basis. I read the new posts, but very rarely reply. Not much goes on around here, in terms of general chatter. Most people only seem to log in for questions. Maybe this can be a new beginning that changes the trend.
Winterized this past week (stuck in Pittsburgh for a few months), but looking forward to next year!!!

We just purchased our new to us 2011 Classic 14RB and brought it home and am now in the midst of winterizing it. No real chance to use it now in the Pacific Northwest as the temps are starting to tumble and our weather changes quickly. Will be planning and deciding where to go next year though. Can't wait for the Spring thaw.

Hello fellow 1st KZ Rally campers and newbies to the forum! I try to get on here at least every day if not every other day. I too was surprised at the few owners we had at the rally but we had to start somewhere. We need to talk it up at the dealers and camper shows if we attend, for next year. Bill my wife and I miss the fires and jokes at your site! Say hi to Brad and Terry next time you see them (if they don't see it here) from Tom and Cindy.

Hey trex 380, we got together today with Brad and Terry at their workcamp site in Port Clinton. Went over to the Air Museum around the corner from their campground. The area people are building a Ford tri motor airplane there. Henry Ford built 202 of them but destoryed the last three on the assembly line cause the government was going to regulate any airplane company that built over 200 planes so he stopped at 199. They flew the Tri Motor from Port Clinton to Put-in Bay and Peele's Island for years. Stopped in the 60's 70's. Neat place to go through if you ever get over this way.
Anyway we have lunch and a long visit at the 50's style diner at the museum. Funny to watch Florida people in the cooler weather. They're kind of lost and already wearing long johns and plugging their truck in when the temp hit the low 40'su...
I understand that a mini rally is in the works for mid summer in Michigan being worked on by the honeymooners. I think they are still trying to firm up a date. So the fire ring will be warmed up and I'll start collecting so new jokes. Agree with you that we need to get the dealers involve at some level. Happy owners help sell RV's

We are in the process of ordering a 245 - 1500 durango after enjoying 3 jayco's over the years. Enjoying the forum. It's a bad time of the year for the forum--everybody is just waiting for spring so there is not much action right now. I'm sure you will enjoy your new Durango. KZ makes a good RV and their service has always been great for me. We had a Montego Bay and last October we traded it in on a Stoneridge, We had our Montego Bay for several years an it was trouble free. We got the Stoneridge because it has a huge kitchen plus the paint job on it really impressed me. We had a few minor issues with the Stoneridge on our first trip but the dealer fixed the problems as soon as we got home.

Hello.. is anybody out there? Yes! From the southwest corner of Canada where it almost never snows, expect this is the 3rd day with snow on the ground. As far as activity goes, there are a few more mainstream RV forums with high usage that are better to hang out on for getting general RV info. One I like is iRV2.com. Not sure why there are two KZ forums either. Confusing.... It would be nice to see KZ approach another forum like say iRV2 to get KZ included as an owner's sub-forum. I don't think KZ is doing the best of jobs to improve their profile and visibility and I think they could try being more pro-active out there. Would also be nice to see a KZ rep. on this or one of the other forums. Can't wait for the next camping season to start and we have a new 2014 Spree arriving soon. Can't wait to see some of the new features like frameless windows, new exterior color and vaulted ceiling.

Welcome, .... Bad case of cabin fever going on right now...Bought several items for the camper...which ain't helping. Can't even kick the tires since I've got it stored at the local fairgrounds.
Built another pinic table camp light to give to my son-in-law for Christmas...
Wishing all a very Merry Christmas to everyone.
