Hello,
We have owned a 2019 Connect 291RL since new. It has a queen bed with full length closets on each side and a shelf running between the closets over the bed. The closets and shelf span side to side across the nose of the trailer. We would like to remove the existing closets and shelf in the bedroom to make room for a king size bed. We do not use the closets and would rather have more open side space next to our heads when we sleep as well as the bigger bed. The existing bed rests partially on top of the cargo hold which we will leave as is.
My question is this: Would removing the full length closets and shelf harm the structural integrity of the travel trailer in any way?
Thank you in advance.

I wouldn't think so, as the interior cabinetry is pretty light weight and not all that strong.
