It would be nice to see if anyone else has done something with these pantry’s. I don’t have your trailer but my D250RES has a skinny pantry too. I was going to talk to my cabinet maker buddy to see if he can make some kind of drawer system. I’ll have a better look when it’s out of winter storage.

The shelves in our pantry like to fall, because they just sit on the stupid little clips on the adjustment rails. Been thinking about adding a custom rack system, which I've seen on a couple other rigs and sticks and bricks houses.

Has anyone put in 'vents' on / in their pantry? I have a 251RL, and the pantry is right next to the fridg ... talk about heat buildup in the pantry! *of course this summer has been HOT, but*
I'm considering a installing a floor heating vent on the top portion of the pantry instead of having to leave the door ajar while camping. Perhaps even with a mini 12v fan. Problem is, the available area is pretty small and all (most) vents are a bit bigger than the panel I'm looking to install this in. Experience tells me that I have to find a way to dissipate the heat or chance loosing things that I'm storying in there. (food)
KZ ... a simple fix @ the factory!
thanks jl

Remove the outside vents and verify that the refrigerator was installed correctly per the installation manual. Then make sure that the area is properly insulated and if debris is blocking the venting, use a flashlight and mirror.

JL, you could also just make a "passive" system by drilling holes at the base of the door, covering it with a decorative screen or mesh (think old-school speaker cover) and do the same at the top. Save you some power if you're 'docking and would be more quiet.

I leave the door open when I’m not camping. I’ve just been too busy with other projects around the house to get to this one.

I'm wondering why I would vent heat into the unit? I'm thinking that the external vents might be the prob.
