There have to be owners with either a C-PAP or Bi-PAP machine. Does anyone have a backup power suggestion without spending $$$ for a battery backup. We usually have power available but on the chance of a power outage or stay at a parking lot we would like to have something. The Bi-PAP does have a humidifier. Thanks!!!!

I use a CPAP and have never lost power at an RV park, I do carry a Champion 3100I generator for stops at state parks w/o power so I have that IF I ever needed. I'm also OK for a few nights w/o, been to the hospital out of town and didn't think to bring it.

My wife uses a CPAP and like Edd we have never had a power outage at a RV park. Also like Edd She has gone w/o for a night or two. If you don't want to deal with a generator you could also go with an inverter, but that will involve determining how much current your CPAP draws over a night's use, then and size the inverter and battery bank accordingly. No matter what, it's gonna be $$$.

Just remembered some of the CPAPs run on 12V, you might looking into that and see if yours does then calculate the draw & how much battery you would need.

Thanks to all. He has been with out for a night but just thought if there was something simple it would be good. We have been at a campground that lost power for a day or so. We chose to stay as we were ok on our battery power. We have an inverter from previous travels but it need a cigarette plug....don't have one in the FW. We could probably set it up if it is the right power. Now that the snow is gone and we can get in the FW, we will have to check. Just seeing if anyone has had experience.

If you have on of the smaller inverters adding the cigarette lighter should be an easy project. Most RV's have 12 volt lights in the bedroom, tap one with the lighter and your good to go, should be good for an over nighter I'm sure they don't draw much.
