Hello all. DW and I purchased our 2013 Classic 190 on Saturday from Custom RV in Ontario,CA. We moved up from a Chalet Arrowhead (also purchased from Custom) as we are getting up in years and opening and closing a pop up was getting tiresome. We have been camping on and off for the last 30+ years, mostly tenting it, and wanted something lightweight and self contained. We bought the KZ because it was offered by the same dealer we have had much success with in the past. Matt and Scott at Custom RV are the epitome of customer service and a great joy to do business with. We will be heading out this weekend for a test run to our favorite campground close to home. We pretty much camp in the Southern California area -Orange & San Diego Counties and the Inland Empire. We look forward to years of great times in our new home away from home.

Weclome to the KZ family. We are generally a friendly bunch, but I think a lot are shy or something. I would like to see more people using this forum.
So enjoy your RV cause those of us here in the midwest are winterizing our RV's for winter storage.
Here comes cabin fever.

Thank you for the welcome. I would agree about people being shy--over 400 views before the first reply . We just got back from our shake down weekend and really enjoyed the new rig. Only a few minor problems but nothing serious. The close rack in the rear closet detached while we were traveling due to extremely poor design. It was held in by one 1/4 inch staple and some very small staples from above but it should be an easy fix. One of the stop screws on the awning was missing but again an easy fix. The shower connector to the bathroom sink was not tightened, again an easy fix but it was a disaster cleaning up all the water. Other than those minor problems all systems worked as advertised. My only concern was the tongue jack seems extremely "wobbly" even with the stabilizers down. This caused more rocking in the trailer than our previous trailer. I am going to talk to the dealer and may have him install an electric tongue jack. We are very pleased with our new KZ and can't wait for our next trip in November to San Clemente State Beach.

I added a plate to the underside of the tongue to hold the jack better. With just the top plate even the power jacks will wobble. The fit must be very close for this to work.
