Been RV'ing for 20 years, owned every type of RV except for class B. I don't live in a super cold environment but we on rare occasion drop to the 30's or upper 20's. During the winter we always just winterize and wait until February to repack and go again. Well, this was our first get ready to pack and go... I open up the 5th wheel (we got to use only about 5 times all last year as we bought this one late in the season), and my eyes promptly drew onto popped seams on the island kitchen, ceiling trim, most of the kitchen overhead doors glue joints expanded, doors on the cabinets were overlapping and didn't close. Such a wreck!!! We had some snow but these 5th wheels are 4 season rated. If it happened to this trailer, what happened to others on lots or other customers? I've attached 4 pics. I would like to find out if you have experienced similar issues. Wow! That totally sucks! I'd be sending these pics to KZ directly! Gotta tell ya, the more I hear about KZ as a company, and see stuff like this, the less I'm recommending KZ to people who ask.

X 2 what Lyle said! That's a shame you have to deal with that but at least it should be within warranty.

Wow, that is a shame! I can’t imagine what caused that. We have cold hard winters where we live and hot humid summers and I’ve never seen one do that, including the Durango I have now. I totally agree with what Lyle and Soleman said. I would send those pics straight to KZ. Good luck!

Hearing this makes me glad I keep a small milk house heater running inside the Durango all winter, as well as a small ceramic unit in the basement storage area. Keeps my interior spaces above 45º all winter, despite single digit and below zero temps outside. My interior falls apart enough without adding cold temp damage to the list.
