I was curious if anyone has any tips on parks near the Spokane area? From there we are hoping to get to cross into Canada, so any tips heading to Calgary and then Edmonton. Thanks Kirt

If you’re coming through BC into Alberta, two hours west of Calgary is Banff and Lake Louise. If you have kids and interested in dinosaurs, Drumheller is just NE of Calgary. It’s home to the Royal Tyrell Museum. It’s worth a two or three night stay there. Travel Alberta . Com for all kinds of info. There are also National Park campgrounds in Banff, Lake Louise and further north in Jasper Alberta. The Columbia Ice Fields are between Lake Louise and Jasper. FYI, the last two years has been brutal for booking campsites so prebooking is recommended. It’s a pain as now your on a schedule. I last did this trip in summer of 09 and it was busy. I booked everything on our two week trip. Sorry I can’t help with Spokane as I’ve never been.
