Just had some service one at a dealership to replace a leveler strut and slide piston from a hydraulic leak we noticed. When I got my camper back I put it in storage and never extended the slides (I did try them at the dealership before I took the camper home and seemed to be ok but extended them from being outside, not inside the camper) and saw that the molding and particle board was coming out from the wall. Seems the slide they did the work on is no longer level or something and it's pulling the wall away whenever I open the slide. I looked underneath and noticed a bracket one one of the rack and pinion bars seems bent, that is, not vertical and at an angle. I've notified the dealership but haven't heard back. This happened AFTER I brought my camper in for the hydraulic repairs. I'm already $3600 into this and I'm going to be insistent with the dealership this isn't my problem. Anyone have this issue with the dining room slide on their 356RLT? Mine's a 2019.

Looks like pretty serious damage. I would definitely try to hold the dealer/repair shop liable if it were not like that before, but I’m not sure I would be very confident in having the same shop doing the repairs that did the initial damage. I also don’t know if KZ would give any input or if they could exert any influence on the dealer. As Lyle said, please do keep us updated. Good luck!

I think your going to find out the slides out of adjustment and dragging on the carpet. Hopefully it's just the trim around the slide that's pulled loose. Still take the awhile to get matching sent to the shop.

If they worked on that slide and did not verify the slide adjustment it is on them. It sucks

I'm bringing it back to the dealer next month. I can already hear the excuses.

I've had issues with that slide on the same year and model DG. I've written about it in another thread, but basically the dealer rebuild the slide ceiling to have a bit of crown to it because they said that water wasn't running off of it properly. They crowned the roof so much that it wouldn't fit into the cutout without the top dragging and ripping seals off of the wall. Fast forward to now..the same dealer has fixed that issue (and had to re-adjust the slide tilt) at their cost, but I still have other issues now that I can't help think are related to their work.
