Hey guys I'm a newer member here. I had family stay in our Durango Gold for Christmas and today when I tried to close the 5th wheel up, the bedroom slide worked like normal but my main slide didnt even try to move. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I had plenty of spare time early last summer, I fooled around and made up the adaptor/fittings to manually close or open the LR and kitchen slides. I'm thinking if I had a better cordless drill it would be a non-event to do that manually. I even found the provision to deal with the landing gear... KZ thoughtfully made NO placards suggesting such useful info as manual operations. I haven't discovered how to deal with the BR Closet slide... but I'm not done ... :-) :-) :-) KZ 251 Durango

There is usually a fitting on the frame that will allow for manual operation using a socket or in some cases a slotted attachement like this: www.rvupgradestore.com/crank-handle-p/045-119226.htm. The same method is used to lower your spare tire if it is under the unit. Slide mechanisms in the front of a unit are usually inside under the bed or closet and manual operation is located there. Here are a couple of videos that may be helpful, the first is a generic Lippert slide demo and the second is a lady with a bedroom slide repair. Hope one is helpful: www.youtube.com/watch?v=BWCnT7JjV8Awww.youtube.com/watch?v=5CmJ_v3tMVc

There are valves in the battery compartment to open and close. Reading his last post looks like he is working on that.
Your links are for an electric slide, his will be hydraulic.

My bad, should have quoted the second guy looking for the bedroom info. In re-reading, he may be hydraulic as well but more info is not bad:)
