Boss and I have a 2022 DG G386flf on order. We based our decision to purchase this model based on the 2021 and were ensured there would very little changes. Stumbled upon the realization that for 2022, KZ decided to not include a Radio/DVD player with the entertainment center. It's not even an option. I somewhat understand certain cost increases, but to increase price and include less, 🤬

Bummer, well at least now you have the chance to pick out witch ever one you want. Gonna cost at least a couple hundred bucks + wiring, misc. installation etc.?

I can see them dropping that. There's not much dvd use anymore, I haven't used a dvd in over a decade. I guess that's why video stores have all gone out of business. You can get a pretty decent bluetooth speaker for around $50 and use your phone for radio and music. I have a portable speaker that I use in the trailer and also out around the fire. Rarely use the radio/dvd player for radio and have never used it for dvds in the last 2 trailers I have owned.

Kbrady pretty much summed it up. We do exactly the same thing. You aren't missing anything, the OEM (and I mean any OEM) stuff is universally lousy.

Mine came with AM/FM and that was all. I do watch DVD's so bought a simple DVD player from Wally world. I have to say the DVD has not been used much since I bought a satellite setup for the 5W.

I see your point but honestly, the one in my 387 isn't worth having anyway. Yeah it works and plays DVDs but the whole interface and function is kinda crappy. Plus we all know how bad radio reception can be in some places. I typically use blue tooth off my phone. If you need to watch a DVD you can buy a player for next to nothing and set it in a cabinet.

I know I wouldn’t care about not getting it or even the TV. Buy what you want and probably better quality too. We bought a separate Blu-Ray player for ours. And already mentioned, radio reception sucks where we camp. Plus we have a satellite dish on a tripod so we bring our receiver.

For me that would be no great loss. We use the radio from time to time but rarely ever use the DVD player. The remote that came with ours is worthless.

I bought a sound bar and hooked my TV to that. I can also blue-tooth to the phone so if I wanted music, It plays from phone to sound bar. I do not use the radio inside any more.

Best upgrade they finally started doing... getting rid of the crappy radio/dvd and outside speakers. They now come with soundbar inside and removable bt speaker outside

I have a quick question for those that have received their 2022's. I have a 321RKT on order and I was wondering if the new Bluetooth speaker that comes factory installed is actually connected to the TV via HDMI or optic cable? I fully intend on utilizing the space beneath the tv for a new Blu-ray player as we camp in remote areas with no free to air television channels.

My son-in-law's dad's Tesla TH had a kick-a$$ system in it, with a 12 or 14" sub mounted right in the wall of the living area. Best factory system I've heard in =any= RV, bar none! I sure wish I could replace mine with a decent system, as I =do= like my music and the TV's speakers are crap.

They had a Bows radio but no DVD player, when we viewer our G384RLT at the RV show there was
a video playing so I didn't think much about it, then when we did our walk thought/PDI I ask were did the DVD player go, they said there
wasn't any, I said yes there was, it was playing at the RV show, they said it was something they just put in to show the model Ugh !!!!
