This looks to be standard for many models in 2022. For what it is in materials it is a little pricey but if it works it could be worth it for hot climates. www.rvairflow.com/

only works on the A/C's that look like this, it goes in the ceiling under this type unit.

I've looked at that and have it on my DIY upgrade list, you-tube has some videos showing how to DIY for under $50.00 bucks!

Do any of the YouTube installs show installing from the roof or all from under into the roof? To install from above the A/C unit would need lifted, like is said originally it fits A/C units with the inside that looks like my post. All I've seen are installed from underneath. correct, you can pull down the stock cover and do some work in the plenum with tape and do the same thing.

I talked to a couple of people who have installed this on my latest trip. The both loved it and said it helped a lot and was an easy install.
