Here's another one of those , "... you better check your ..." threads.
My 8 month old Connect 261RB came from the factory with these PSX1 power stabilizers front and rear. Today, on the way home from dumping the tanks after winterizing, I heard a terrible noise from the trailer. I saw in the mirror my front power stabilizer mechanism dangling along side the trailer by the wiring. Before I could do anything, it broke loose and hit my front right tire (blowing it out) before tumbling onto the shoulder of the highway. Because it happened in a construction zone, there is no place to pull off and go retrieve it. Fortunately, no other cars involved and no injuries.
I was able to pull off at the next exit and fortunately there was no damage to the rest of the trailer (except the tire).
I called the dealer and sent them photos. Waiting to hear about a resolution... I'll post back here when I know more.
So in the mean time, I inspected the rear stabilizer mechanism, and found that it was loose on one side. They are only held on with sheet metal screws (yes SCREWS). I'm going out there and installing nuts and bolts on both sides of the rear mechanism to make sure it doesn't suffer the same fate. So be sure to check yours soon.

Thank you for the heads up. I am heading out on a 1200 mile round trip in two weeks.

Update... 1 week since incident.
Dealer said replacement parts are on order. Also, dealer asked me to replace the tire and send the receipt to be included as part of the warranty claim. We are still waiting to see if KZ will cover the replacement tire. Stay tuned...

There is a good dealer bad dealer thread you might want t post to.

Ok, great news. The dealer confirmed that the jack assembly, tire, and labor to reinstall the jack are covered under warranty. I went ahead and replaced the tire and submitted the receipt and the dealer cut me a reimbursement check on the spot. Also, he confirmed that he has already received the new jack assembly and I can bring the trailer in anytime for repair. Since it's now winter and the trailer is covered and stored, we agreed to take care of the repair first thing in the spring.
Sucks that it happened, but the dealer made it right. Good guy!

Wow...I just stumbled on this thread almost 2-years after the same thing happened to us with our '21 261RB. We pulled out of a RV park in Baytown, TX., and had the same experience. We pulled into a truck stop, unhitched, and drove to a farm supply store, purchased eight nuts and bolts and repaired it ourselves. I always thought that I clipped something in the road, but now, I question my thought on that. We were very lucky because the wires were still unscathed and the unit was still operable. I'll never forget seeing the stabilizer swaying back and forth across the pavement as we were driving. This could have been much worse, but thankfully it was not.
