I have a 2021 C221RBSE and I am wanting to get satellite signal to the only antenna connection on the entertainment center wall. The connection works for antenna but I can not get a signal for my satellite there unless I run the cable thru the door directly to the receiver. In the bedroom there are two connections as well as the power booster button for the antenna. On the back of the TT are the satellite/cable connections.
Anyone have any idea as to how these are cabled up, or have a cabling diagram? I may have to get a cable tester to chase the cables.
Thanks for any help.

Here ya go, this is from 2018, but I don't think they have changed the diagram much - or KZ's ability to properly assemble & connect coax cable, so you may want to check all the ends.

View AttachmentThat may get me in the ballpark, but mine only has one coax connection behind the main TV and two in the bedroom. I would think it should have an antenna connection amd a satellite connection because satellite can't run through a sitter. It needs to run direct.

I've looked at these and I intend to order one. Just don't understand only one coax connection behind TV. Every picture I've seen of KZs there are two coax connections behind the TV (antenna and sat/cable).

Have you removed the wall plate behind the main tv to see if by chance there’s another coax back there? My satellite and cable connections were reversed in the wet bay but they both were terminated behind the tv. Also, in spite of what we’ve been told, you can get by with a splitter in satellite connections as long as the RF loss is acceptable. It’s not optimum but is doable. I only know that because I spent 39 years in the telecom industry and have built and maintained more than a few CATV headends. Good luck!

Jay No I have not looked for another cable, but thanks for the advice. Just seems odd that there is a Sat connection in the bedroom but not one at the entertainment center. Guess I could put a terminal there if there is a Sat cable behind the wall.

An update on what I have found out. There is no satellite cable in the wall of the entertainment center. A call to KZs service dept confirmed this. To get satellite at the entertainment it is going to be necessary to tie into the satellite coax in the bedroom and run it through the wall, kitchen cabinets, into the pantry and over to the entertainment center wall. So this will be my winter project so its ready to go next season. I really do not understand why there is a satellite connection in the bedroom and not one where you would actually watch it, but it is what it is.....

But no one ever said anything in the RV world made sense. Rather than run that coax from the BR to entertainment center, why not just run one direct to the entertainment center? Also, less connections to add issues.

I have to admit that this is an option that I had not considered. I assumed that the cabling went from the rear connection overhead to the bedroom, but I guess I could pull the connection plate and see. It would require dropping the belly cover and running the cable to the entertainment wall. Thanks for the suggestion nvguy and wahoo. Gives me something to think about.

In a previous 5th wheel, the satellite or cable connections never worked so I bought an outdoor RV coax receptacle ($12 from Amazon), drilled a hole through the wall behind the entertainment center, and created a new connect point. It was cheap, easy, and worked perfectly. The only real concern is to make sure it’s sealed properly so moisture doesn’t enter your RV at the connection.

My fifth wheel came with solar roof prep. does anyone one know where the wires coming from the roof are located? I expected to see a loose red and black wire somewhere near battery compartment, but see nothing. Thanks

RV cable TV setups can vary depending on the make and model of your RV. If you have satellite TV in addition to cable, you may need a switch or selector box to choose between the two sources or you're not getting a clear signal, check the booster/amplifier to make sure it's powered on and functioning correctly.

The satellite connection in mine just always seemed to have some kind of issue. So, I did the same thing as Jay, ordered me up an outdoor connection installed it now just hook up directly to it. Problem solved.
