We’ve had ours for a year and a half and I got still more junk out of the screens before we left on this trip. I’m pretty sure it was all leftover from manufacture. And you can’t believe how much trash was under the upper part of the bed platform when I had it out. It couldn’t have taken more than a few minutes to clean it all up at the factory.

I finally got to mine and yes there was a lot of plastic pieces blocking the screen. While I was doing this I figured I would check why my basement taps wouldn’t turn off completely. It was fine if you didn’t have the coil hose plugged into the quick connect. It had plastic pieces in it too!

A few years back there was another thread regarding this same issue, many of us took out screens in the faucets as well as cleaned
them a couple of times ...
Our faucet came loose a number of times, finally got it replaced because the treads were striped out after waiting three weeks for the Kz factory to send the new faucet to the dealer...
Once the dealer got the faucet the RV Tech would installed it at the dealer must have a had a bad night an put the handle half way
into the sink instead of parallel on the counter Ugh ! ...
I complained an they had another tech who could see straight fix it while we waited an hour more to pick it up Safe Travels Chuck

First time RVer and our first rig-transitioning to full time to be with traveling husband- so many questions but THIS FAUCET thing is driving me crazy. It is a brand new from the factory 382mbq just picked it up in August. No hot water in kitchen sink unless I’m hooked up to city water, bought this rig and the off grid solar package so that we could get out and boondock or use it at the family property-our current location while we figure it all out. I go between my FW tank and the city hookup because we are on a well out here and we siphon pressure to the house if I’m on full time. I have cleaned my spout which fixed the bathroom issue but the kitchen is just not working. For the price of the unit I’m really annoyed. Also when I’m hooked up to city water I can hear like a buzzing sound coming from my pump? Idk what that’s all about, but when we picked it up the dealer had already filled the FW tank and had us hooked up to city water while on site so we could “test”. As a first timer I didn’t think to try everything on dry camping mode.

I am probably going to insult you here, but I always start at the very beginning / basic level. At your water control panel, are you switching the valve(s) from City water to dry camping (freshwater tank) when you switch from one source to another? Also, did you remember to shut the pump off when using city water? You may have to disassemble the kitchen faucet to get any construction crud out of the faucet valve itself, although it is strange only the hot side is affected, but nowadays, I don't discount anything. If I am wrong here, please verify that it's only the kitchen sink that doesn't have hot water when using the pump.

Other than the pump off during city… ALL OF THE ABOVE including disassembly of the kitchen faucet head but not the entire faucet itself. Will try that if it might help. It’s not the end of the world- I grew up backwood camping, so this is luxury it takes 5 mins to boil hot water!!!
Thanks and not insulted, appreciate you talking to me like the newbie I am! Lol

Went back to dry camp setting and now there are terrible noises as in CRAZY LOUD- BUT now I have hot water in the kitchen… I wanted to drain my FW and run the trailer dry and start over but I’m not sure which is the low point drain. The blue and red valves under my tankless water heater or the red valve farther towards the back by the kitchen… sticker says it’s by the water heater. TBH I’m worried about causing unnecessary damage with trial and error.

No water when hooked up to city water? I'd suggest the valves may not be in the right positions. Can you take a picture of your water panel and post it for us to see?

When you said no hot water at the kitchen faucet did you mean no water at all or just no hot water? I took it to mean no water at all. If there is water, but not hot, it could be there isn't enough flow to get the on demand water heater going, so lets reset... Based on your last post, panel settings on Dry Camping, water pump on you have hot water. Hooked up to city water, panel setting on City, no hot water, but is there water flowing? The valve in the back is going to be the FW tank. I have no idea what the terrible noise is. Please do submit a pic of your water panel.

Same here. No hot water in kitchen sink until I turn on the bathroom sink. I use a pressure regulator and a blue sediment filter on my setup. Seems to be the norm on these units as I have been reading. 326RLT model number.

I did have the valve in the wrong place when I said no water in city -oh yeah felt like a goof lol. But the hot water is not turning on unless I have both bathroom and kitchen BUT SOMETIMES and I don’t know why I do have hot water in those sinks while on dry camping. I’m just convinced it’s crazy pants and I’ll have to be flexible.

Not familiar with your model check the outdoor showers turned off. Just a wild guess, is the hot water tank bypassed, winterizing setting?

It could be there just isn't enough flow to get the tankless water heater activated or something isn't hooked up right.

Just went this weekend for 3 days and lost water pressure, Same thing, Cleaned out all the screens on the faucets and all fixed. I believe when I blew out the lines for a freeze, it blew any debrie to the screens which plugged up the faucets.

I'm so thankful we have guys/gals so smart on the KZ Forum. Took my kitchen faucet apart (completely apart) never seen so much plastic and unknow junk in such a small area. Put all back together and talking about water pressure. Just simply fantastic. Thank yall very much..
