I'm confirming the connection so I can just order cable and 1 lb bottle convertor for a small grill --- and if you have a favorite small propane grill, let me know. A CONNECT 261RB doesn't have much storage so something small is key!!

Some research.... so far but it appears you would need to remove the regulator that is on the portable Grill, since the LP feed from the RV LP Bottles is already at a lower pressure. (Or is it? My RV is at storage so I can't confirm there isn't a high pressure like off the tanks. I sincerely doubt there is a high pressure line off the tanks) Seems you would need to then "adapt" from the LP Hose quick connect into your grill or cooktop I have an old COLEMAN Propane Campstove Model 5400A700, which has a small regulator that connects to a 1lb bottle. Then regulator to a 12" hose that then treads onto a male connection on the stove at the corner shown by edge of the manual. This seems like some extra hardware maybe required. And more research.

Unless your coach is really weird, the LP feed is low (regulated) pressure and, yep you need to remove the BBQ regulator if the BBQ was set up to take the small bottles as they deliver high pressure. A word of caution, my Weber BBQ works fine on standard RV regulated pressure (11") but who knows what Coleman or any other BBQ mfg decided to use, chance are it is the standard 11", so be very careful when you light it for the first time.

I'm not aware of any small grill that comes pre - setup to plug into your RV quick connect, but I did convert my Weber Q to work off my RV. See link below: www.youtube.com/watch?v=fjCeW5s7wvkHope this helps?

I carry a Traeger Tailgater. No need for a propane connection so I can’t be of much help there, but after years of using a propane grill I would highly recommend the pellet grill instead.

Go over to a large Walmart and look in the camping section. I bought everything to hook my grill to the large bottles, they also have quick connects.

Thanks IDMT, I got a lot of the parts, but by-passing the regulator on the campstove and my grill would be painful based on AMAZON and internet searches. I think using your method will work a lot better. And I get to make another run to the hardware store Thanks for the pictures, that helps a TON!!!

The last two are what you can pickup at Walmart, I have used-them years with a metal pole that I can run off a 1 gallon refillable bottle I got at a propane dealer. Lantern on top grill on another port gas fire pit on another. Here's the RV adapter, you will need to T the shut of in the existing propane line.

If your RV already has a hose for an onboard grill can you get by with this? simple weber Q adapter
This is essentially what I bought to operate my blackstone. Since I already had a hose with quick connect fittings I saw no need to spend extra money. Or check out the Dozyant store on amazon. They seem to have fittings for just about everything.
