Wondering if anyone has any suggestions... Recently ordered a '22 Durango Gold G386flf and I'm wondering about hooking up satellite TV. In our previous FW, an 09 Durango, there was one "cable" hook-up outside the RV for the main TV, but, to hook up the 2nd satellite receiver in the master bedroom, I had to feed the cable through the bedroom slide, as there was no proper splitter installed. Does anyone know if this is the same situation in the new Golds, seeing as there's a TV in master bedroom as well as in the living room? TIA

Most come wire fro two satellites, if they work, you will find one in the wet bay and one on the roof. Problem is most of us have had problems with factory cabling not being up to par, loose ends, miss routed etc. Lots of posts in the past on cabling not working for satellite or TV, don't recall any on cable. I still run through a window with the flat trough window adapter like this. Been chasing why the wet bay won't work for years and can't find a way to run a new cable. Have them show you all hookups work at the PDI, let them chase it if it does not work.

On My unit, They had the Cable line in and the Sat line in reversed. Now, I do have a portable Sat dish which I will not put on the roof. Rather have a tripod setup which is easier to move from under trees when covered up. Last time out, Could not get signal when I just sat it on the roof. Had to move it to an open area. Now as far as the bedroom, I have not tried anything in there as of yet. I connect into the wet bay, which is then Connected to F port behind living room TV to the receiver. Have not tried to get signal in bedroom yet. Just always did a scan of local channels since I really do not watch TV in bedroom.

Buddy in his class A with the gun mount roof mount bought a portable antenna for the times he couldn't get a signal. I have a 100ft cable if I need to go that far, normally use a 50ft.

There should be a wiring diagram in the owners manual. AS others have said, the the cables to the back side of the connectors may be swapped (mine was in the living room in my Venom), but at least it will show if you are supposed to have it in the bedroom or not.

I just took delivery on a 387FLF (same trailer but a pantry in place of the 1/2bath) There is a main satt connection in the wet bay and there is also one behind the Bedroom TV. Now that doesn't necessarily mean there is an onboard splitter but one can hope I guess.

As Edd said earlier, many of them seem to be reversed in the wet bay. My cable and satellite connectors were reversed plus there were loose connections all over the unit. As for the bedroom tv, we rarely use it so I really can’t answer that one. Both TVs work properly on antenna. When we arrived at the dealership to do the PDI and pick ours up, they already had both TVs on. Based upon the wiring diagram, it should be easy enough to get satellite connections at both TVs. But remember, portable satellite dishes are only capable of “seeing” one satellite at a time so even with dual outputs and 2 receivers, you’re limited to both TVs watching programming from the same satellite. Many people we know carry 2 dishes for that reason.

What I have found is the 2nd TV doesn't always lock on the same sat as the main and that results in no picture. I think if you wanted 2 reliable sat TV's a couple tailgaters would be the better deal than the Pathway.
