Looking for some input. My tow vehicle is a 2009 GMC Sierra 2500HD with the duramax/Allison trans combo. Looking at adding rear spring assist to level the truck out better when 5th Wheel is locked in. I've looked into Airlift air bags, Timbrens and Sumo Springs. Just wondering if anyone would like to share their opinion on any or all of them? TIA

I have the Airlift 5000 bags under my Ram 2500 and have been very pleased with them. My truck didn’t squat much without them, but the back end is much more stable with them, especially in strong winds. I also like the fact that you can adjust the air pressure as needed. That’s a great advantage if you pull multiple trailers. I have no experience with the Timbrens or Sumos but they do nothing until the axle lowers enough to touch them. Those who have them, however, seem to like them, and there is very little to go wrong with them.

We put air lift 5k on our 17 Titan XD...Really helped with wind sway..Run 35 psi with 1680 pin weight and full 35 gallon slip tank.
