I have a 2017 Durango Gold 384RLT. I have the bed lift but I can find no way to operate it. Nothing on the control panel. Is there a switch for it and where would it be. Thanks

Are you sure?? 2017 models did not come with a bed lift. you can manually lift the foot of the bed to expose the under bed storage. it is supported by gas struts

The struts back then were coming loose and we added wood blocks with screws instead of the staples the factory used.

I am sure. My trailer is a 2017 Durango Gold with wires, a motor and tracks and rollers but no switch. Trailerman

Strange.. My switch is mounted next to the lights above the head of the bed. I suppose they could have mounted it anywhere though. Follow the wires?

All I have above the bed is the light. Facing the headboard at the end of the bed the wires go through a hole and turn left in the wall. There is no way to follow the wires. I would think the switch would be where you could reach it, or at least on the control panel or a remote. I could remove the light and see if there are wires up there. Thanks for the reply.

the wires you see are for the motors to open an close your slides, as stated there were no bed lift for the 2017 G384RLT,,, As stated by Edd the blocks for the left struts were stapled, I along with a few other glued an screwed them to the bottom of the bed so thhey would not come loose any more ... Also the hinge on the front of the bed only has a few screws across the hinge, some of use have added more screws to this hinge to avoid a problem down the road ... Also make sure you silicone seals along the top an bottom of your slide's are ok an not damaged or leaking or bad, ie discolored pealing etc, this can lead to water damage to your floors an cost you mega bucks ... Trust me on the seals, my G384RLT is the same year as yours a 2017 an per my dealer the 7k damage to three slides was do to bad silicone seals along the slide rails at the bottom of the slides ... Do I trust my dealer, no, but the fact is that I had de=lamination to one wall an three soft floors to a now 4 an a half year old trailer because they stated that the silicone was bad .. Safe Travels Chuck
