We had our RV plugged into shore power (30 amp) and fridge on electric. We use a progressive pole EMS system. The power flickered and we could not get the fridge to run off electric after that - only propane. Everything else worked. Checked fuses - any idea? We didn’t want to remove the EMS and plug direct because we felt it was doing what it should be doing. Manuals don’t help for troubleshooting

Have you tripped the breaker outside at the power box? Does the other electric stuff work, TV etc. Just reread the other stuff works. have you checked the fuses outside under the fridge panel? Check the connection in the fuse block is tight and not come loose. Battery/Batteries full? No battery disconnect. I think someone else had this issue and KZ had the fridge on a GFI circuit, might check those and see if ones tripped as a just in case. If none of these work start at the fridge & check for power, volt/ohm or just a test light.

Unplug and shut down everything. Check every breaker, cycle them off then back on. Reconnect and try again. We had power blip here a while ago, and our EMS did not like it. Set a code and shut things off.

We recently had a power issue at the park we’re currently in. My refrigerator switched to propane and wouldn’t switch back. My ac breaker didn’t appear to be tripped but I reset it anyway and everything started working. It’s been working fine since.

You said everything else worked. Have you checked all the 120 volt outlets. Did you verify that you are even getting 120 volts to the trailer? The EMS may have failed.

I had a problem with my microwave an found that one side of the plug was gone, wire had come loose, re-connected wire an all was good again ... So one has to remember that these trailers are rolling earth quakes going down the road an things come loose, so checking fuses, wires an other things is more or less the norm ... The way I look at things is that the DW an Grand-kids along with dogs are out exploring an I'm going all over the trailer looking for things that have come loose, fell off or just went wrong any more LOL Safe Travels Chuck

Had you found the answers to why your electrical side of the fridge won’t work?
