With helping out a fellow RVer I posted a modification that I installed on my camper to the Durango thread located here. It worked out great and I hope it helps anyone else thinking that their refrigerator needs replacement in order to work as installed. I feel that Norcold knows this design doesn't work well and KZ knows it as well, though there's nothing anyone will find from either of these manufacturere's about it since they'd be liable for repairs. Anyhow, there is a fix and it may vary from one camper to the next depending on the size of the fridge and the space that's free to install the fans.

I'm going to cut a couple of slat holes in the area above the refrigerator (and possibly the dinette area) and put vents over the slats. I'll look at the outside venting area and see if there is anything that could be done to upgrade the airflow once it gets a bit warmer out.
