On our 2021 382MBQ (really a 2020) we were having chucking issues (B&W slider companion 2020 GMC Dully) so at one of the sites we were visiting a (GD rally ) was going on and decided to find out how much it was to replace the pin box (with a MoRrye) to improve the chucking issue. Install was free so I said do it. When they went to remove the pin box, 3 of the large bolts were stripped out and if they broke off my rig would have been destroyed along with god knows what else as even the emergency brake would not have worked. Check the torque on the big bolts. KZ is unresponsive to the issue. We love our rig but this is a safety issue. Note, no chucking improvements bobnsser56@gmail.com

I too watch the bolts closely on my pin box. When ours was new we replaced the pin box with a Reese Sidewinder. I haven’t found any of the bolts loose enough to damage the threads but I have found them loosened some. Proper torquing and a little Loctite seems to have fixed the problem.
