I'm looking at purchasing a 2016 F150 with the 2.7L Turbo engine. Would this be a good choice for pulling my 2019 e191bh?

I have heard in hilly terrain you’re on the turbo constantly. Also they have oil pan leak issues as the pans are made of plastic from 15-17.

Here's a link to the Ford towing guide for 2016. Lots of factors- rear axle gear, cab..etc.... linkThe oil pan issue is fixable, the mechanic just has to follow Ford's procedure. And you will be in the turbo when you're pulling hills, but it was engineered for that.

Instaed of wondering why not get a F250, you know you have enough and should you want a bigger TT you wont need another truck.

It will do the job but with the 2.7 motor you'll be on the turbo constantly even with that smaller trailer, which will be quite a bit harder on gas. My recommend would be the 5L or the 3.5 turbo. The 5L will give better mileage when towing with lots of power & the 3.5 will have even more torque but tends to use more fuel when in the turbo .

The 2.7 has a good amount of horsepower. Gas mileage will be low regardless of what engine you use, it takes a certain amount of fuel to do the work. The one thing that I would be concerned with is engine braking, that puny engine will not hold back as well as a large engine so you will be working the brakes hard. That may not be an issue in areas where the downhills are short, so only you know the conditions that will be encountered.
