On a Connect RB261, the city water connection and the fresh water connection are both under the gutter. When it rains, or if the air conditioner is running, the water all pours down onto your fresh water hoses, pressure valves, filters. I know it's not sewer water, but couldn't the engineer in charge of gutters sit closer to the engineer for water systems, so they might talk during work?? They might then confirm, hey I can't move the gutter any further, but perhaps that inlets for both city and tank water could be 6" to the rear? Water coming right down on pressure regulator and filter....

Add some wind and you've got a mess inside, for sure. Lyle

I do have a few suggestions after seeing your photo.
There are hatch type water inlets available, see if you can fit one of those that contain both the gravity fill and city water inlet. For an incentive to do the work, look at that black inlet you have now and I think you will see a vent hole that allows anything to flow right in to your drinking water.
I installed a hook up under the trailer and hang all that water paraphernalia on it rather than abusing the water connection.

Good point Lynnmor- there is an open vent on those water inlets, so yeah, stuff can get in there. Also, I connect my regulator to the water hook up to lower the pressure on the fresh water hose.
