New to this forum, looking forward to participating and learning. I own a 2018 KZ Spree 201RB and we enjoy it very much. The layout is perfect for us, and it tows easily behind my Honda Ridgeline. One issue that still plagues us: After towing my unit and arriving at our campsite, there is usually an unbearable odor inside the trailer. It’s caused, I assume, from the black tank. Tank emptied & treated from previous use, plenty of water in the toilet, water in all traps, roof vents closed, I can’t understand where the odor comes from. Dealer says we’re not “cleaning our black tank correctly”, but this is not our first rodeo. Had zero problems with previous motorhomes. Once on site and interior air is cleared, no further problems until the next transport. I would sincerely appreciate any help or suggestions that this forum can provide. Thank you very much.

Welcome to the forum. In regard to the "smell"= it could be the grey tank, they get a lot of stuff from the kitchen drain so they can get funky. My guess is it the air admittance valve (AAV vent), it allows air into the plumbing as water drains. It has a rubber flapper that will rot over time and allow tank odors into the interior. As you travel, the airflow over the coach could be creating high pressure in the vent stack that pressurizes the grey tank and forces foul air past this flapper valve. Typically these valves are under the sink, hidden in a corner of the vanity cabinet.

Nvguy usually knows what he's talking about, and that's a common cause, and a simple fix. Another thing you can do is to add the "weather vane" vent caps. They cock into the wind and provide a draw out of the tank, even in a small breeze, let alone driving down the road. The Camco version is called the Cyclone. About $20, give or take. Lyle
