Howdy. We recently experienced an issue where our main slide out on our 2021 333 RLT will "stall". You push the "button" on the touch screen, it starts moving and stops, you push it again, you hear the "click" of a relay yet it doesn't move. do it again, it moves, sometimes it stops again, and you gotta fiddle with it to get it to travel all the way. We are familiar with the need to push the touch screen over and over sometimes....LOL....
The "clicking" i hear comes from the controller in the basement storage area. That tells me that the signal from the touch screen is getting to the controller, I am suspicious of the wiring at the motor. Reminds me of a bad relay. I would like to check it out but I am not 100% sure where this motor is. I'd hate to start taking the underbelly apart if it has to be accessed some other way. does anyone have any Idea where this thing is and the the best way to access it?

no1eman There is another post on this subject but can't remember were I saw it Ugh !!! What I have found out with ours you have to keep your finger directly on the button otherwise it will stop, cleaning the screen also helps from time to time because it get oily As well on ours if I hear the clicking on our bedroom slide it means the slide is fully opened or when closing the slide is fully closed, I hear no clicking in-between .... Our bedroom slide works on gears an main slides work on hydraulics so we do not hear any clicking on main slides ... Hope this helps Chuck

I assume your leveling system is hydraulic ... if not, ignore this whole post. It is not uncommon for the 50 amp automatic resettable circuit breaker can get weak and start tripping. It then resets itself and works for a bit, then trips again. There is really nothing wrong with it other than age. My 2017 Gold started doing this and after replacing that breaker it now works like it always did.

My thoughts are based on you having motor driven slides, not hydraulic.. Since your coach is a '21, I would check all the connections / wiring, as the factory sometimes doesn't make the best most trouble free connections. Then (If I am thinking right), the relays are replaceable on the controller, I would replace the relay. Next is a bad spot in the motor, so it would be new motor time. Motor is on the slide mechanism, which your going to have to get to to check the wiring. Check out the Lippert site, lots of service manuals there. Link to Lippert Slide out master manual link

Mine is a 2020 Half-Ton 283RLT. The kitchen slide would not operate with touch screen but worked fine with my iphone app. The in-motion lock was often displayed on the touch screen and had to be OK'd off...the kitchen slide still wouldn't work after in-motion was off. I called Lippert and the tech convinced me to try removing the touch screen and disconnecting from power. I then left it alone for about 15 minutes before connecting to power. I was amazed at how much more responsive the screen is and everything is working great now. I was reluctant to do that while in AZ earlier this year for fear that I might loose what successful function of the touch screen I had. Nobody wants to make a problem worse away from your sources for help if needed. The re-set of the touch screen might solve your slide problem.

LCI even has recommendations on replacing those auto-reset CBs with a heavier one after so many people complained about this. I want to say they went from 50 to 80 amps, per LCI. Lyle

The 1st year we were at the kz Rally, Kz Tech "Chuck" came around an replace I believe 40amp beakers in all the Durango Golds at the rally that 1st couple of days ... So it's not surprising that LCI has not learned a lesson up to till now, so of like the awnings LOL Safe Travels Chuck

I have the same unit and if I dont hold the thumb/finger directly on the (in/out) spot on the controller it will stop. If its anything else you have a two year warranty front to back. So I would let the service dept where you bought it fix it. Would like to know the outcome. Good luck.

Great name Roger my middle name Anyway make sure if you do have a problem it may take you one, two, three months to get into a dealer for repair an then another one, two or three months before they get the parts to repair your unit it ... Our dealer stated it would take 3 months to get into get a furnace repaired, we called the Mfg an got into a competing dealer only 10 miles from the house an had it fixed in less than 3 days ... Again we have been waiting for a large repair, took 2 months for parts, three months to get into dealer an it's going to be another month for repair ... This may not be the norm for some dealers as with ours, but I'd say possible 75 percent follow this norm Ugh !!! Safe Travels Chuck
