I am attempting to repair the cord in one of the pleated shades. The valance has to come off. I can see or feel no way that it has been attached at the top. The legs have a bracket near the bottom that can be fairly easily removed. Screws simply attach at the bottom on each side. I suspect it attaches in a similar way at the top. However, I suspect the actual top valance is installed at the time of manufacturing with no worry about a needed repair down the road. I sure would appreciate a comment if anyone has solved the problem I've tried to describe. Maybe it just pulls off...I know I could do that....but that could be damaging. Maybe one of you has the secret. This is a 2020 Durango 283 RLT Half Ton model. Thanks!

On my 2015 they did it two ways. If the valance is directly under a cabinet there are two screws in each valance. The screws are more towards the center of the valance and you have to look up from underneath to find them. They went from the inside of the valance up into the cabinet. If it is out in the open there is a small L bracket in each corner, again on the inside of the valance. There not easy to find, and you may have to move the shade a little to actually see them. I attached a few pics so you can see how they are attached. I'm not sure it's the same for the 2020. Hope this helps.
