Has anyone had problems with the water pump? Our Shurflo 4008 RV Revolution didn’t work when new. It was replaced with a P25201 HydroMax that just quit working.

Did you check the basics? In line Fuse, breaker, loose wire connection?

Good Morning,
Thank you for reaching out to us and I apologize for the issues you are having. Unfortunately, that would not be a factory installed product that we would be able to cover under warranty. The company that makes that pump would be who holds that warranty now. I do apologize that we cannot be of more assistance in this matter, but if you have any further questions or concerns, please let me know.
Thank you,
Justin Zimmerman – Technical Advisor/Warranty Administrator

Did you check the basics? In line Fuse, breaker, loose wire connection? The pump runs but will not pump water. I turned the valves to siphon and it doesn’t work there either.

What water source were you intending to siphon from? Send pictures of your set-up, valve locations, positions etc.--- It's very difficult to offer help with out having information to work with.

I found the supply line from the fresh water tank had a collapsed spot about three inches long. It was behind the plastic cover that hides all the plumbing so it had to have been that way when it was installed. The original pump was probably okay too. I cut the collapsed part out and used a brass nipple and pex clamps. Thank you to all who helped.

I can’t see how to post pictures here but the hose was not the regular pex but the softer braided one.

I changed my plastic protective plate from being held in place by screws to velcro strips. When I winterize I actually take my water pump out and bring it home. It just made it easier to take that shield in and out with velco instead of screws. And based on where ours is, that velcro and plastic shield is enough to protect the pump and lines from any items in the storage bay hitting it. Depending on how your storage is laid out, perhaps velcro wouldn't be sufficient protection.
