Thinking about installing a fan in the rear vent. If anyone has done this, where did you get power?
A second question about fans in general. Does anyone make a fan with a wireless remote?
TIA

Like the Max air? I have tall ceilings and the remotes the only way to control it.

Same here. Both of mine are MaxAirs. The ceiling is too high to reach the one in the kitchen.

Yes, that's what I'm looking for, or similar. My brother's Reflection has "remotes" for his vents, but they are wall-mounted, wired, controls. I've not yet found one that has a wireless remote. FWIW, I =can= just reach the knob if I use my left had; right shoulder's too f'd up and leave me about 4" short, so I have to get the step-stool. DW has to stretch to reach it, even with the stool. Mine came with a handheld remote control and a wall-mount cradle for it. I mounted the cradle in the bathroom but we can use the remote in either room as it controls both fans. The range is small enough, and directional, so when you point it at one it doesn’t turn the other one on or off. They are also variable speed and can be adjusted from the remote. You also can set them to come on or cut off at a preset temperature. I don’t know if Edd’s is the same but mine are MaxAirs and look just like the one in the picture he posted above.

Yep! Exactly the same. Lyle, if these will fit the opening in your trailer I would highly recommend them.

Edd, do you have the covers on yours? I don’t but I’m thinking of adding them.

It was over the bedroom and really helped keep things cool when we boondocked, and didn't seem to use much juice. Maxxair fans seem to have taken over, as I almost never see anyone posting about Fantastic Fans any more. Lyle

Would still like to know if there's some way to get power to a fan on the rear fan. There =are= plugs in both rear corners, near the recliners. I just don't know how hard it would be to fish wires up through the wall and across the ceiling.

Lyle Fishing wires thru the wall would probably be difficult due to insulation in the walls, but you can use the A/C ducting to run wires thru the ceiling to a point where you can go sideways (in a rafter bay) to a cabinet, (or somewhere you can hide a wire) where you might be able to grab some power from a light that has constant power.

Also have the Maxxair like above threads with the wireless remote for the kitchen area. The Bathroom vent you can reach by hand. I will have to try one day to see if the remote from the kitchen will also work the bathroom. Mmmmmm something to try.
