Having an issue which I think is the thermostat itself. In heat mode I will turn it on, set temperature and it will start. What happens is it doesn’t shut off when it reaches set temperature. I can hear burner stop but fan keeps going and going. A few minutes go by and burner kicks in again and this will continue. In order to stop it, I set temp way lower than ambient temp. I hear the click and in two minutes it shuts off. Then at night the furnace never kicked in when it should have until I forced it by setting temp way high. Any ideas? Anyone else with similar issue. Also another member had fan issues with his in which mine has same issue. Fan is one speed no matter setting.

An analog thermostat is notoriously inaccurate. I replaced both of mine with digital that look just like these and appear to be OEM. They control the temp + or - 1 degree of set point.

You need to get one like this digital not analog like Ron said. Not cheap but they work, wire for wire replacement so pretty fool proof. Got two of the analogs in my shop as I have changed then in my last two 5W's.

Well I have emailed my dealer and awaiting their reply. I also noticed next to nothing for air movement out of the vents. A paper towel over the vent doesn’t even move. I’m thinking lack of air movement is affecting proper furnace operation.

RV manufacturers (not just KZ) are not the best when it comes to routing ducting, so some rearranging may be needed.

It’s under warranty so it’s going back to dealer on Monday. Hopefully it’s as simple as a ducting issue. There’s no air flow at basement duct either. Will post their findings and repair when done.

I have a 3 hour drive to dealer and they will work on it as soon as I get there at 8 am.

Furnace cut-out wasn’t removed. They had one job to do installing the furnace and they screwed up!!!!! I guess it was everybody’s first day on the job. I sure hope it’s not a sign for any future issues!

That's really lousy on several levels. It starts at the factory then moves to the dealer who sure didn't do a proper PDI.

Around here there’s very few dealers to choose from and you’re picking your camper, not the dealer. Shorter 5th wheels like the D250RES we bought don’t seem to be stocked a lot. Lots of bigger ones and travel trailers. The dealer did accommodate me when I wanted to bring it in. Started on it a soon as I unhooked it. I’ll give them that!

People that drove to work are now working from home/RV's. NADA has added thousands to the value of used RV's. People ordering wait months to have theirs built, RV parks are getting harder to book, they are full. A sign of the times, I suspect there will be a surge of used RV's on the market 3-5 years when people realize they don't want to live in a rolling box.

Their getting you in and taken care of right away almost makes it even for them missing the furnace. You are right, you have to pick the coach and live with whatever dealer has it. We had to go out of state for our coach. Back in the day, I did a lot of driveway repairs, which really works well for everyone. The customer gets his coach fixed quickly, the dealer doesn't have to move and store the coach.

I sure hope it’s not a sign for any future issues! That is just...sh!tty! I'd tell the dealer to make sure KZ knows about this and I'd send my own comments to them, as well. (As if Thor really cares...) If this was your selling dealer for this rig, I'd make sure that the GM there knows about it, too. Glad a glaring problem was found and can be corrected. Lyle

I'm glad that someone''s dealer got them in quickly, it took 3 months to get parts in for my repair an now another 3 months to get it into dealer an the dealer states 3 to 4 weeks to get repairs done ... I guess my dealer thinks 3 is a magic number
I as well also found heater ducks off an taped them up
As well the kitchen faucet keeps coming loose, dealer has fixed twice, factory twice, have fixed it twice an now I noticed the other
day when cleaning out the trailer getting ready to go to dealer it's loose again ... There is I believe suppose to be a rubber gasket under the base but it's never been there since it was new ... So I think I will get out the super glue now LOL

Back in the day, I did a lot of driveway repairs, which really works well for everyone. The customer gets his coach fixed quickly, the dealer doesn't have to move and store the coach. When we were shopping, and I found KZ, I called the factory and asked them about mobile repairs for warranty, because KZ is a smaller mfr and has many fewer dealers. At that time (about 2015), they said "no problem, just have them call us to get parts and we'll authorize the work. Also, at that time, there was exactly ONE KZ dealer here in AZ. There are a couple, now and, fortunately, one is only about 20 miles away. They also don't seem to have the "didn't buy it here" mentality, so I feel pretty good about taking it there for any work that I might need, and that it'll get done in a (relatively) timely manner. Now, I simply don't trust KZ to "do the right thing" were I on the road and needed repairs, even out of warranty. I look at the way KZ has treated Chuck, one of their biggest cheerleaders, and I just shake my head. How many KZs has he "sold" with his good words about the company and overall quality? That, alone, should have had his rig back to the factory for repairs. All I can say, is that I hope my KZ lasts a =long= time, as there's not another FW made that I've found that I really like. Based on floorplans, quality, warranty (or lack of it) and those damn solid steps. Lyle

Maybe it's simply time to install your own, residential, faucet. Lyle

That's what I just did, got a standard residential faucet. Our original faucet we getting jenky when going from spray to solid stream. I had to pick up some shut off valves, as you need to transform to 1/2 NPT (fittings on the PEX) to the typical faucet 3/8" compression.
