My Suburban water heater (on my C241RLK) stopped working over the weekend on propane. It was good Friday night and Saturday. But I got up Sunday morning to no hot water. It does work on electric, though. It's just a propane issue. Any tips on how to trouble shoot before I take it in ? I thought (hoped) the propane had run out, but the stove and furnace run with out an issue. I don't THINK it's a fuse issue as everything else on the 12V system worked with out issue. My thought is it's either not getting a spark or not getting gas. I tried looking at it when I got home and it was quiet. I didn't hear any type of sparking activity like it was trying to light (not that I would, though). Any ideas on where to start ?

Since the igniter is 12vdc I would start by checking fuses and breakers. If you are standing by the WH and all is quiet, you should hear the igniter clicking as it attempts to ignite the burner.

Have you tried pressing the reset buttons on the water heater?

There are two reset buttons behind the black box in this photo, one is for electric the other gas. Behind that is the thermostats, I just replace one that was likely still good as there was rust behind it, I buffed it and install the new.
