So I tried to setup my satellite dish for camping in my new D250RES. After thinking it’s cabling issue with my quick connect cables, I determined the that after connecting the wires on the plug in the basement, they flipped the plug before they screwed it to the wall. I tried the cable hookup just for the fun and satellite worked. So I fixed that. Frustrating to say the least!! Figured I would post this just in case someone else may have this issue.

I feel your pain but apparently that's normal. Mine was exactly the same and I have talked to several others who had the same issue. I too reversed mine, AFTER splending lots of time trying to figure out why it wouldn't work. Very frustrating indeed!

Not sure what you mean by "flipped the plug"? Do you mean the co-axle is installed backwards into the wall?

I just did a 180 flip on complete assembly instead of reversing the cables on the back of it.

I just did a 180 flip on complete assembly instead of reversing the cables on the back of it. Instead of the plate like yours, my coax connectors are molded into the panel in the wet bay so I had to disconnect them from the back and reverse them. While I was in there I also replaced the f-connectors with better quality connectors. I could have just relabeled them but that would have been too easy. Lol Jay

And the worse thing is, the wiring was different colour. One was black and the other was white. They must use a different colour to differentiate between cable and satellite wiring.

Mine was wired backward as well. In addition, all the connections were loose, preventing it from flowing enough voltage to operate the sat dish. Had to run the coax from the Wally, through the window, straight to the dish to get satellite. Have not tried it yet since I tightened everything up. Hope that fixed it. KZ uses black coax for cable, and gray coax for satellite. It's just not that hard to get it wired right and tight.

I found that same diagram in my manual. I pulled plate off in the basement again and confirmed the satellite cable is BLACK. It works as it should now for air TV and satellite TV. We’ll see if cable TV works next time I’m in a campground with cable hookup. I doubt I’ll add a TV to the bedroom. Not a lot of room around bed if a TV is hanging in the way. Thanks for all the help!

The inputs in the water control panel are both black behind the panel. I have had an issue since I got mine 4 years ago, the satellite connection works one thing and not the next. I know I need to run a new coax but haven't got there after a number of tries, the old is tied in place and I have not found a way to get the coax up into the slide and to the TV as the cable does an s going up. Been running the coax through a window and direct to the receiver.

Not sure what jumper wire is for but I’m not going to lose sleep over that lol.
