I am still waiting for delivery of my new Durango 301RLT, but busy planning for its parking location in my driveway. As I was contemplating building some boards/risers for one side to compensate for the driveway side slope, I realized I need to know the axle spacing to determine the tire footprints.
Would someone here that owns a 301RLT mind providing me with the center-to center measurement between front and rear axles? Using that, and the approx diameter of the tires (30.8") I can diagram the layout and determine length and spacing of a board/riser that can accommodate both wheels and two wheel chocks for one side.
Much appreciated and I'll owe you a beverage of choice.

If you haven’t got it by then I will send it in . Best of luck Ken

Hi, HiWayOurWay, The center-to-center dimension between your Durango 301RLT axles is 29 1/2 inches. Thanks, and safe travels!

Thank you kzamod. But . . . . Something doesn't jive here with that number. The 301RLT comes with ST235/80R16 tires on it. Every brand of tire I have looked up in that size has a diameter of 30.7~30.8 inches. If the axles centers were 29-1/2" apart, the tires would overlap each other by over 1-1/4" and couldn't turn. In the pics, the 301rlt's all look like they have about 3" or so space between tires.

My mistake ... Here's the response from our plant engineer: "My bad, I gave you axle hanger spacing and the equalizer will push them out See if around 34” Jives better for him." See attached image file. Attachments:

That makes more sense to me. I very much appreciate your assistance, and the data and diagram from the engineer!
Thank you for your help.
I owe you one for sure.
