Question for others regarding the One Control touch screen. On my DG 356rlt, the lack of responsiveness of the touch screen is beginning to irritate me (a lot). Turning on lights or bringing in the awnings takes forever. The phone app works great and responds the way a touch screen should, but every time I want to turn something on, I need to switch wifi settings, log on with the app, turn something on, then log off and switch back wifi networks. Turning a light on or off should not take this long. So a couple of questions please for those with the same system: 1. How well does your touch screen respond? 2. It appears the touch screen communicates wirelessly via the One Control router, yes? 3. Has anyone given thought to adding a few hardwired switches? I found one short youtube video of a guy who did it. 4. Is it a slow touch screen, or a slow One Control wifi network? If I could have everything I wanted, it would be a fast responsive touch screen, and a full bank of manual switches for simplicity of operation. Thanks for any answers or opinions. Did you end up getting manual switches to work? And if so, do you mind sharing how you accomplished it? I very much dislike the One Control required control of my hall light, want to add a manual switch and looking for options.
Thanks!

I have not started the manual switch project yet. I just haven't had or made the time to take on the project, which I know will be big. If and when I do, I'll be sure to post my progress. I know there are many people out there that would rather just press a button instead of navigating through the slow delayed touch screen just to turn on a light.

Took the touch panel off the wall, and there were only 2 plugs in it. One plug seemed like only the power and ground. The other had 2 wires in a harness, that went "UP" towards the roof. Seems I have individual "module's" for jacks, lights (which I can't find), A/C, which are in the front compartment and pass through.
Can't find the awning or lights which is what I want to move to switches.

85-90 is pretty normal here on 95 in FL. They do know it's the highway number not the speed limit.

Look on the tank monitor module. The awning light and water pump are powered from the tank monitor module on my 2023 290RLT.

I am no expert the LCI is new to me as well this is the first experience that I have had . We bought a Durango 2021 301RLT and it has the LCI . I agree with you on the simplicity of just having a hard switch for lights it seems to be a lot of work just to turn on a light . We have 2 awnings and the main awning is control by the LCI and the secondary has a hard switch ? So far the only problem that I have noticed is the main slide hesitating and stops part way through . I was told to make sure that we have a firm contact and do not let up on the pressure you are putting on the LCI . I am not totally sold on that but we will be trying it out again in a few days . I have also sent a note to Durango as well still waiting for a reply if I do not get one in a few days I will trying phoning and talk to a tech . Other than that we love they RV and everything else seems to work great . Best of luck Ken C

Hi, we just bought a 2022 Durango 311BHD and it too has the touch screen panel. I would like to know if I can control my unit with an app. There’s nothing to indicate that I can. How can I tell if an app will work? If not, is there something that I need to add to the unit to make it work with an app? Thanks.

Nothing to add and you just have to pair it with your camper after you install it on your mobile device. I have it and love it. Easier to use than the touch pad itself.

Update: I called Lippert tech support. They ran me through diagnostics procedures and ultimately diagnosed it as a bad Unity board. Said it should be broadcasting Bluetooth…but it isn’t, so they will replace. 🤞
