So...anyone else discover that anytime they try to adjust the fireplace temp setting that the volume on their TV goes up? And also changing channels will change the temp on the fireplace?
Or is that just a special dysfunction in our new rig? (2021 251bhk)

Sounds like your remotes have IR codes in common. Unless one of your devices have an accessible dipswitch plate to specifically change the IR codes, I'm not aware of any easy way to resolve this. You may have to go back to your dealer and they may need to swap out one of your electronics.

You could test by covering the IR sensor on the fireplace or TV and see if you can change. Or maybe if you point the TV remote higher, the IR will miss the fireplace sensor.
Problem is, most remotes have a wide dispersion to the "IR light beam" to ensure it hits the sensor since it's not usually obvious where the IR sensor is.
