Hello all -- a question popped up on a FB Owners Page -- I have a Escape 231bh and I was wondering if I can walk on the roof to clean it? -- My question for the 201BH also - and I would think the same for the lower models -- 191, 181 etc....

Hi, IMDT ... KZ Escapes, KZ Classics and Venture Sonics all have what we refer to as serviceable roofs, not walk-on roofs. Any product that doesn’t have at least 9mm roof decking is considered a serviceable roof. These trailers are smaller, and the roofs can be inspected and serviced by using a ladder. Hope this helps!

Helps a little -- I've been up on my 201BH roof to replace a roof vent and do the King WiFi upgrade, I didn't stand on it - but sat down and scooted around, So then how would we go about doing any A/C maintence or repairs, or checking sealant and roof seams both front and back and around the vents and antenna??

3/8 or 1/2 inch Plywood to distribute weight over a larger area, most can be reached with a tall latter from the sides, not a KZ but aluminum roofed.

A good guideline is if it didn't come with a ladder, the manufacturer doesn't want you up there. As Edd said- if you have to get up there- put some plywood down to spread the load.
