Hi All
I am curious if anyone has attempted to run an HDMI from the furrion DV7200 to their TV in an Escape E231BH without it looking like crap? I noticed some cabinets have false bottoms. If so, where did you run the cable?
Thanks
Brian

Thanks Alex. I too am part of the forum and asked the same question there. Appreciate the answer.

Are you trying to play the TV audio through the speakers ? If so, I’m wondering the same... I know there is a HDMI plugin on the back of the unit ( from looking at user manuals )... we plan on mounting our TV where the coax drops are above the dinette which is far away! 2021 231BH

I am going to use a cord channel and mount to the ceiling between the closet to the cabinet where the awning/slide out controls are and then mount in a keystone faceplate with an hdmi keystone.

Upon testing my running of wiring an hdmi from thr DV 7200 to the TV I can definately say it is pass through only. No sound. It is not a 2 way communication between the stereo and TV. I am going to run stereo RCA cable which should do the trick.

I just use a 3.5mm audio cable and it sounds great. Cable is pretty small too. I only unroll it and place it on top of the door header cushion when I need it. Otherwise I keep it roll up behind my TV.

Finally finished this project. In the end I ran a Toslink optical cable from the TV to behind the DV7200. I then bought a digital to Analog converter which runs on micro USB which converts toslink optical to red and white RCA, which can in turn be plugged into the DV7200 AV inputs on the back. This works quite nice.
Digital to Analog converter was purchased off Amazon for $30.
