We had our roof and decking replaced at the factory about three years ago. This springs inspection shows two rows of what look like staples protruding along both sides of the roof about 3 to 4 inches in from the edge. Looking for ideas on repairs. Thanks

Thanks According to one RV mfr's manuals, it's "normal" to see stuff like this, including "construction debris", under the membrane. Wasn't KZ; just can't remember which other mfr it was. Personally, I'd try and tap them back down, then cover each one with a piece of Eternabond tape. Just about guaranteed that they won't penetrate =that= from underneath. Lyle

To add to what Lyle said, I would try to use a small block of wood between the hammer face and the roof, otherwise might damage the membrane, in any case, covering with eternabond is appropriate. JMHO

JMHO I have a small dead blow hammer that I'd use. Plastic, with a hollow head with a 2-3 oz of shot in it. Lyle
