When I hook up shore power, everything works, when I start generator, everything works, if I turn off generator and disconnect shore power, turn on battery’s and the inverter, only one side of my 2021 382MBQ works. All circuit breakers good as I can go back and forth and repeat the problem. 2 lithium bats and 2 solar cells dealer installed. Do I have a bad inverter. Any guesses.

Making a guess here, but that's probably how its wired. Typically an inverters output is limited, so only selected loads are connected to the inverter when on battery power. Also I bet the outlets that have inverter power are on GFI circuits.

Don’t laugh but the side that is out are the 2 theater seats. The gfi plugs are the ones that do not work but good with shore and generator. TV and fridge work but not the kitchen plug (coffee maker ) or island plugs.

Maybe it's high-load, or potentially high-load, receps that are the ones not working.

What make and model is your inverter?
KZ specifically states that with the off the grid solar package:
- 2,000 watt pure sine wave inverter making all general and GFI outlets “hot.”
So, there is an issue with the inverter not supplying power to one leg of the 50A panel.
Or, if it was not factory installed, the installation was done in such a way that they only powered one leg of the panel. In that case, it should be fixed by the installing dealer.

Zantrex 1200. Factory installed. I’m the one that wrote 2020 parts in a 2021. Had a second solar panel installed and 2 lithium battery’s.

Was is supposed to be a small inverter? That seems a little small for 2 panels and 2 lithium batteries. 1200 watts is not really enough to do anything except run a fridge and TV (assuming you have a residential fridge.) I would definitely check on that, as they advertise a 2k invertor. If they do tell you the lawyer answer of reserving the right to change parts without telling anyone, I would encourage you to purchase a Renogy 2 or 3k invertor and replace it. You'll be much happier with the higher amount of power, and with 2 lithium batteries (again making assumptions here) you should have 250AH combined reserve. Zantrex 1200. Factory installed. Contacted my dealer and KZ has said they would wire it. Fantastic dealer and KZ . For future notes, the early 2020 models 382 MBQ were wired so only one leg was powered with the inverter. Mine is a 2021 and there was the issue.

That's good to hear!! Did they say they were going to install the correct invertor? Contacted my dealer and KZ has said they would wire it. Fantastic dealer and KZ . I asked about replacing the inverter with the correct one and the dealer said will get to that later, my dealer is 500 miles away. We shall see

Hopefully they get it sooner, that's a heck of a difference in invertors. Keep us informed please! I asked about replacing the inverter with the correct one and the dealer said will get to that later, my dealer is 500 miles away. We shall see

Here is the final solution from KZ and my dealer. Sorry, you bought it that way so suck it up. We made it that way regardless of what model year it is. (Mine is a 2021, built in June 2020). At this point, I will not recommend KZ to anyone.

You might as well not recommend =any= RV, these days, as they're all the same way. Well, maybe SpaceCraft isn't, but that's custom ordered from the get-go... Lyle

Thanks Lyle, I have always believed that you get what you pay for in quality and as advertised, I’m wrong. I’m not a beginner RVer but I guess I messed up by looking at the web site and pamphlets for my 2021 382MBQ, buy one and then find out it’s a early 2020. My bad.

I just wish someone with DEEP pockets would get pissed off enough at an RV mfr, just =once=, and sue them for false advertising, or at least non-disclosure of "material changes" from the published specs. If they won, it might set enough of a precedent that other mfrs would start changing their tunes, too. If the mfrs would include a list of any changes over published specs as an addendum to the options list, that would solve a lot of these issues. Now, given that even the floor managers in the shop probably don't know what the deviations are, let alone anyone in management, it'd still take a major change in RV manufacturing philosophy to get =this= done. I agree, DEEP Pockets. I know the model year stuff but that is September ish date for everything but these apparently, my manufacture date is June 2020. I did verbally at least ask if it was a 2021 and was told yes several times, I don’t know why I asked this but I did so I used the web site and the Phamplet for 2021 which I was given there. I failed in my inspection process though, we hooked up shore power and checked everything, we disconnected and rechecked on Generator and all was good but I never put it into boondocking mode (2 lithium bats and inverter) and check that.
