It’s down to single digits here. I have been running furnace, and still have had some strange water issues. I still have cold water most places. One toilet quit flushing, but no hot water anywhere. After this happened I put a space heater in the basement. Nothing has changed though. Very frustrating I thought furnace would keep everything working.

I feel for you. I don't know where you are and can't offer much help, but here in NW Oklahoma, we're already down to -2 with several inches of snow. Stay safe out there!

We are 4degrees this morning. By Thursday we will be back to more normal temps. I talked to KZ and they told me it’s just to cold and there wasn’t much I could have done to prevent the freeze. I was under the belief that underbelly being heated this wouldn’t happen. Hoping that no broken plumbing occurs.

Be interested in where it froze, been teens nights and so far no freeze up. I have a heated hose, bucket over the insulated stand pipe, inside stays 68-70 with the furnace. We do have a couple inches of snow but that should not make any differance to inside water.
Have you checked the water controls outside to insure all the valves are in the correct positions?

Yes sir valves are correct. It’s a pipe or two somewhere In the underbelly. Both toilets have no water. Same for shower. Only half bath sink has water. Checked water heater pop off valve and it’s full of warm water. We have had overnights in low 20’s and teens before and this is first issue.

Are you using the RV furnace and have the thermostat turned up to at least 70 degrees? Using electric heaters will cause the furnace to run less thus providing less heat for the plumbing. That said, the “heated underbelly” is almost a joke, since the heat is distributed unevenly and there will be considerable air leaks.
