Because of possible very cold weather, I removed the false wall in the storage area. Behind the transfer switch, there is a hole and an open 2 inch heating hose. Should the hose be directed down the hole or just left so that the hot air passes over the hole. 382MBQ Attachments:

Whats under the hole? If there is nothing connected to the water system I would close it and keep what heats in the basement inside where the piping is.

I think the tanks (FW /Grey/ Blk) are down there, so a bit of heat would probably be good to keep things from freezing.

Regardless of how you configure the hose into the belly/basement area, you definitely want some heat down there to protect your tanks and plumbing from freezing. But, if you choose to use electric space heaters or your electric fireplace for your main source of heat, at least run the fan on the furnace inside your coach so it circulates the warm air from inside into the basement area. I've heard of people running just electric heat inside and having damaged plumbing due to the lack of heat in the belly.

Jay Not only that, but open up the cabinets, especially those against the outer walls. Cold can seep through the walls and freeze plumbing there, too, if no warm air gets circulated there. Lyle

Thanks all, looks like I need a scope to see down the hole. Looks like it goes between the black and gray tanks but not really sure.
