We have a Connect 241RLK. My question is how do we turn on the LED light in front of the trailer? The awning light turns on the LED lights on the side only. Can’t find instructions. Any ideas? Thank you.

I don't know where that hid the switch, but even if I did it would remain a secret, those annoying things have no place in a campground.

I'm sorry, I don't know where that switch is either. Did you look around inside the front compartment? I hope you find it and use it if you want to!

On our 2018 241rlk the switch inside the pass through on the passenger side turns on the under step light and the 3 blue lights in front. Ours was wired incorrectly, the under step light was wired to the hot side of the switch so it was always on.

Thank you so much! We did find it through the pass through section. Happy camper!! 😊

The people inside the trailer don't see them, but the rest of the campground does. That also goes for the ones with the rope lights under and around the entire RV/TT. They keep them on all night.
We all know you are here, you don't have to advertise!

I bet there are campers out there who don't want to smell the smoke from your fire - should we criticize campers with fires? There are people who don't want to hear the music you're playing, should we criticize campers with music? Maybe we should ban all outside lights because some people would prefer it to be totally dark?
It isn't helpful to tell someone who is looking for advice that they shouldn't use the feature that the trailer came with. This original poster hasn't been back to the forum since the day after their post.. I wonder why?
Are we here to help people or to make people conform to our standards of camping? For the love of Mike... How would any of us like it if someone presumed to tell us how to use our equipment?

Admittedly, the most usage our rig gets is boondocking, so it's nice to have a "beacon" to aim for when you're walking around after dark. Also, we do have people sit under the awning and the nice soft glow is a lot better than a bunch of bright lanterns on the tables. Just my $0.02... Lyle

The subject was LED lights in the FRONT of the trailer, the only purpose they serve is to annoy others.

Step lights & awnings until beds fine, what purpose are the cap lights other than light the cap and advertised what ever brand? I use a propane fire no smoke, wife had cancer and one lung, smoke bothers her. Music outside, sometimes but your not going to hear it in the next camp site, that's just plan rude. I may not like your genres though I like most music, you can keep the rap & acid rock. Your camped by me & I do something to offend you come say something, guess people are afraid to talk any more.

I have to disagree there. There are times when it would be nice to have some light up front in order to see better, or to illuminate the "toy-lock" if I have my bikes or generator up front. It has been said in this very forum, if the people didn't want it, the manufacturers wouldn't build it. I don't even have lights up front, but you can bet if I did I would definitely use them. Besides, all someone has to do is pull their blinds down if it bothers them. The subject was LED lights in the FRONT of the trailer, the only purpose they serve is to annoy others.

I have heard of those! They are quite handy, just about as handy as those built in things inside of all rvs, what are they called....? Ohhhhhh blinds. Much easier to do what needs to be done when an entire area is illuminated vs having to hold a flashlight. Who knows, maybe someone is put off by the color of your rv, or the sound of your truck? Maybe the whining from your leveling system really bothers them. Then again, I can see how a light would annoy someone who doesn't go out after dark. I have to disagree there. When in a campground, we are all living in close proximity with our neighbors. There are MANY ways to annoy close-by neighbors, and I'm sure we ALL do at least one or some of these things, mostly unintentionally. Some may not like dogs, or some may not like the smells of our food, or whatever. Sure, I've only been to a campground a couple times, but I am of the belief that we all need to come with a good sense of respect for our neighbors AND a tolerance for some of the things our neighbors will do to annoy us. Who wants to camp next to someone who comes over a few times each day to ask us to modify something else?
Frankly, if I was able to choose between someone who has on a few too many lights and a crowd who parties around the fire till wee hours of the morning, I know what I would choose.

Of course there are things you can do to keep annoyance to a minimum. Keep your noise, music, dogs, smells and useless lighting on your own site as best you can. Having an attitude that others should be disregarded is a problem.

We have a 2016 Durango gold and the light fixture caps (in the ceiling) will not fit in the original when you replace them. We bought some that was to be a replacement but they are impossible to get the cap to stay on.

Thank you. Does your trailer have OneConnect? That’s where our cap and awning light controls are located. Jay
